Barf

Hi Sweetie,
Mommy felt great when she woke up, but when I was changing Kate's diaper (not because it smelled), I all of a sudden felt sick! I felt like I was going to throw up any second. My stomach gargled and I put her down and ran to the toilet. I gagged a couple times and then I threw up a few times. Then I felt better right away. ARE YOU A BOY? I wonder b/c I feel a little sicker this time (not sick all the time, just when I'm hungry or smell certain things, or when I'm really full). That sounds like all the time, but really-if I keep my tummy full-I'm usually okay. Which is like it was with Kate EXCEPT throwing up for no reason at all today. That makes me wonder. Well, if you are a boy, I'd like to name you James. I love that name and it is like the name Kate, (easy to spell, gender specific, and one syllable (yikes! how do you spell that!?). I love you.
Love Mommy
PS If you're not a boy, and you're a baby girl, I will also be SOOOOOO excited! :) I love you. If you're a girl, Daddy likes the name Jill. I do too, but I also like other names too like Emily. Lori (but that sounds too much like Laura and that might get confusing). I can't think of any names right now. No big deal b/c you're not supposed to come for a while. Love you. Love me. Whichever gender you are WE WILL LOVE YOU SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH! :)

Hi New, Sweet Little One

Hi Baby,
Two weeks ago we just found out the best news ever: that you are coming to our family! :) We are SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited to meet you!!! I think about you SOOOO often. I love you. I can't wait to feel you move. I love you SO much. I feel that my love can be enough for Kate and you. Love expands when you're a mother, and it's something that I could not understand until I became a mother. I was feeding Kate a bottle tonight, thinking of how much I love you, and how much I love her. That's when I realized that parents are given the blessing of not having a limit to their love. So, I love you. I love you. I love you. Good night. :)

Hi Dear Sweetie!

Dear Baby,
This is Mommy and Daddy one week ago. Daddy had this great idea! He thought we should have a picnic at Sundance! He did a bike ride up Provo Canyon, South Fork Canyon, then up to Sundance. I met him there with the picnic. He found us a PERFECT spot! We love you so much!

This was taken during our week at the lakehouse for the 4th of July.

This shows you how much you've grown! :) I took this picture a week and a half ago. Sept 4th. So two months later. This was at the Ramada Inn in St. George when Daddy did the Red Rock Relay! (My hands are showing 8 for 8 months)

Hi Sweets,
It has been quite a long time since I've written to you on this. Just so you know, I have written to you lots of times in my pregnancy journal :) I just wanted to update you. We are SOOOOOOO excited for you to come in about 3 weeks :)!!!!! I had a dream last night, that you came. It was so sweet to see your little face and your fluffed hair! I wonder how much hair you will have. I got you the cutest little clips for your little hair. It should be able to grab onto even a little bit of hair :) So, something hilarious just happened! I was eating a VERY healthy snack, just for you, tongiht. I was trying to put the plate somewhere, and set it on my stomach. I realized it sat on it perfectly! I have NEVER done that yet!!!! Hilarious! I think the plate was a little too cold b/c you started moving. It is just a little plate, but I had grapes, cottage cheese and rosemary crackers. I love you so much. Daddy is SOOOOOO excited for you to come. He still always says "Hi Kate" in his high pitched voice. He even recorded it as his ringtone today.
He goes into your room everyday and says "Hi Kate's Room". Sometimes he goes and pushes down on your mattress. Tonight he joked around and asked why he couldn't sleep in it. He touched your cute little nightgown we have haning on a wall hook and ooooos and awwws. Yesterday I found this tiny little white cup with your full name on it, and Daddy put it on our wall shelf. He found the perfect spot for it. He also kisses you all the time, by kissing my tummy. WE LOVE YOU KATE. Grandma and Grandpa are soooo excited to see you. They think about you many times a day and talk about you so often.
Grandma's radiation is going great. We feel that it's such a huge blessing that she's feeling so great. We're very thankful. She is on the tail end of her 3rd week. Then 3 more to go! :)
Love you so much sweetie,
Love,
Momma

Hi Sweetie

Hi sweetie!
How are you doing? I am so sorry that it's been so long since I last wrote on the blog. I HAVE been writing in the pregnancy journal quite a bit, so if you want to be caught up on the last few weeks, it's in the journal :)
I love you! I love you! I love you so much!!! :) My Momma came to my Dr.'s apt. today. She got to hear your cute, quick heartbeat and she LOVED it! She thought it was SOOO neat and cute! :) The Dr. said that I was measuring a little big, but still within a few centemeters of the pregnancy week I am in. She said it's maybe because I might be carrying you higher. She said not to worry about it. I always get worried when she tells me something is not totally normal. BUT I'm so grateful that you seem to be doing great :) That's such a wonderful thing!
You have been making really big moves this week! A few days ago, I felt your heel or hand on the right side of my belly buttom. I could feel this cute, little, hard thing. It was so neat! Daddy got to feel it too, because you did it again the next couple of days. Yesterday you were must have been stretching, but it seems like you are running out of room. I saw my left side of my stomach rise about an inch! You pushed on my tummy and it was SO weird to see! :) A few nights ago I felt a big round thing (must have been your head or tooshie) on my right side. It was SOOO amazing to feel that! Wow!!! I also felt it Sunday night. Wow! It was when I got up to use the pottie.
If you can't tell, Daddy and I's favorite thing in the world is you! We love you SOOOOO much already! We can't wait to officially meet you, although we already feel like we really know you!
I love you,
Mommy

Hello Sweet Little One

Hi Sweetheart! :)
I love you! Daddy does too. So, we have had the 20 week appointment and you look good and healthy. We saw your profile and it's ADORABLE! :) We were also told again that you are a girl! But you already knew that! :) haha How are you doing? You are moving around so much. You are growing a lot and the part of my tummy above my belly button is starting to "pop out". People are starting to notice that I'm pregnant. I couple of people knew I was back in Sacramento. And last week, at enrichment, one girl said "you're pregnant!". That made me feel pretty excited because she could tell that I was preggy! :) I love you and rub my tummy often and talk to you. I think you're wonderful. Grandma (my mom) has given you two beautiful gifts. Two weeks ago she gave you an adorable little dress that had a duck on it. It will look SO cute on you. This past weekend, she gave you a VERY soft and fluffy blanket and an adorable little night gown with a TINY hat and binky. The binky says "Daddy's girl". SO CUTE! Everything says Mommy's or Momma's girl, so I was happy to see something that makes Daddy feel special too.
Love you! Love you! Love you!

Hi Baby Girl!!!

Hi Baby Girl,
Last Friday morning, we found out that you are a little baby girl!!!! :) We couldn't be more excited! It makes you feel that much more real to us. PLUS!!!! We got to see your face, head-on, in the ultra-sound! It was SOOOOO amazing! Oh my goodness! We even saw you open your cute little mouth and turn your head. Then we saw a side shot of you and saw a little bit of your profile and your right arm bent. Then we got to see the "3 white lines" that apparently means your are a girl! :) I was SOOOO surprised! We both were! My eyes filled with tears because I was so happy and elated! :) Daddy is soooo excited too! We love you. You are growing so much! With in the past 2 weeks especially! Oh! I just felt you move a little on my right side. I wonder what you are up to. I really wish I could do an ultra-sound all the time so that I could see you all the time...whenver we want. Daddy and I were talking about how cool it would be if my stomach was see-through so we could see YOU! I love you. We would like to name you Kathryn and call you Kate. Is that OK? I just felt you move twice! Make that 3 times! :) Gosh, that is just THE BEST feeling! It makes me feel SO close to you. I can't wait to hold you and kiss you and love you. I get "stingy" just thinking about it. Stingy is what Dad and I say when my eyes start to sting and then get wet because of something I think of. We could not be more excited to see and hold you. We love you so much and will try our very best to love you, take care of your needs, and teach you of your Savior and His gospel and love for you and all mankind.
Love you,
Momma
